The trust believes serving the community is service to the nation. Making the community
stronger will indirectly help the society as well. There is a definite need to revitalize
the community in order to serve the society in changing modern times.
Brahmana seva trust is primarily setup as a committed trust to safeguard and provide
assistance to fellow Brahmin community. It is more a social organization which pledge
to give all kinds of assistance to a needy Brahmin. Make the community stronger
and empower every Brahmin to be net contributor back to the society. Engage well
to do Brahmins or anyone who believes in the trust’s mission to contribute to the
community and retain its past glory, reputation and respect.
|
The trust has a clearly defined mission and is committed to every stated objective.
|
- Eliminate poverty and enable basic needs to the impoverished Brahmin.
- Provide financial assistance to enable access to education to capable and disadvantaged
Brahmin.
- Enable access to sustainable employment by funding, training and other assistance.
- Assist and support health care needs to economically backward.
- Continuously engage well to do Brahmins to help the community.
The trusts do not have allegiance any to political party. Do not distinguish itself
with specific sect or sub sect, language or a state. We solicit aid from anyone
in any form to help the needy community member.
|
- Daily meditate and pray for the welfare of family, community and society.
- Non indulgence into non-vegetarian, alcohol and smoking.
- Undertake weekly community service.
- Believe in tenet that all are divine and maintain respect to every individual irrespective
of caste, sect, language or religion.
- Share the knowledge and experience to every inquisitive individual.
Are you aware? Should we allow it to happen be a question to pose to every well
to do Brahmin?
- In the 5-18 age group, 44 per cent Brahmin students stop education at the primary
level and 36% at the college level.
- 75% of domestic help and cooks in Andhra are Brahmin.
- 70% of Brahmins rely on their hereditary vocation. Hundreds of families survive
on Rs.2500 a month as priests in temples. (Department of Endowment Statistics).
If we ignore, the facts are appalling and at current rate in coming 20-30 yrs. we
will rate ourselves as a community in extinction ravaged by ever changing economic
dynamics. We will be a society at the brink of fading glory and boasted legacy.
Should we allow it to happen? There is a dire need to take care of ourselves as
a community. To transform community into modern era taking its pride into whom we
are and stand for every Brahmin’s self-esteem and welfare. Represent as Brahmin
community as a whole serving for the welfare of society and nation.
